Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dishwasher/Prep Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient food service workplace. The ideal candidate will support food preparation, ensure food safety standards are met, and assist in meal assembly to deliver a high-quality dining experience. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not required, as training will be provided. Responsibilities
Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals
Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and following recipes under supervision
Ensure proper food handling procedures are followed to uphold food safety regulations
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen work area, including counters, prep stations, and storage spaces




Assist with restocking supplies and organizing storage areas to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Support the serving staff during busy periods by providing clean dishes and utensils promptly

Skills
Experience in food service or restaurant environments is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
Knowledge of food handling safety procedures and sanitation standards
Ability to perform basic meal preparation and assist in cooking tasks
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols
Positive communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks such as washing dishes or preparing ingredients
