Responsibilities
Directing roadway design staff, and managing multi-discipline project teams
Financial management of projects including budget forecasting, resource management, change‑order management, and client invoicing
Developing proposals, budgets and schedules, and on‑going business development and liaison with clients
Collaborating with Transportation Leaders and other Project Managers to identify staffing, equipment, and training requirements
Supporting the Stantec Quality Management System, and promoting Stantec’s Environmental Health & Safety program
Ensuring that required functions of the project are satisfactorily performed
Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals,
requirements documentation, and presentations
Building a robust culture of quality design and teamwork
Clients may be both internal and external to Stantec
Other duties as assigned/required
Capabilities and Credentials
Strong leadership, negotiation, communication and customer relationship skills are essential
Experienced in AutoCAD, Micro Station and Open Roads or Civil 3D software will set you apart
Experienced in report and proposal writing
Experienced roadway design
Education and Experience
University or college degree in Civil Engineering with a specialization in road design and construction
Qualified Engineer (P. Eng. or LEL) is required
Minimum of five years of demonstrated experience with project management or engineering design responsibilities
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
Pay Range
Locations Outside of Lower Mainland - BC & Various locations in Ontario – US$89,200.00 – US$129,300.00 annually
