Duties
Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
Support the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from senior kitchen staff
Handle food safely by adhering to proper food handling and hygiene standards at all times
Serve meals efficiently to customers, ensuring presentation and quality meet our high standards
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and workstations to promote a safe and hygienic workplace
Support with stock rotation, inventory checks, and restocking supplies as needed
Follow all food safety regulations and procedures to uphold health standards in the kitchen
Skills
Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a solid understanding of kitchen operations
Strong skills in food preparation, meal assembly, and cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
Excellent serving skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
