We are seeking an experienced Directional Driller to join our growing Netdrill/TDOT Civil team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating horizontal directional drilling (HDD) equipment to install underground utilities safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.

Responsibilities
Operate directional drilling equipment for the installation of underground conduit, duct, and utility infrastructure.
Read and interpret utility locates, project drawings, and construction plans.
Conduct pre-job equipment inspections and perform routine maintenance.
Ensure safe drilling practices while avoiding existing underground utilities.
Coordinate with locators, operators, and site supervisors to complete projects on schedule.
Maintain accurate drilling logs and project documentation.
Follow all company safety policies and applicable regulations.
Assist with other civil construction activities as required.

Qualifications
Previous experience operating horizontal directional drilling equipment.
Knowledge of underground utility installation and locating practices.




Ability to read construction drawings and utility plans.
Strong understanding of safe excavation and drilling procedures.
Valid G Driver's Licence (DZ licence is considered an asset).
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Robust work ethic, reliability, and ability to work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on telecommunications or utility infrastructure projects.
Experience with vacuum excavation and utility locating.
First Aid/CPR, Working at Heights, and other construction safety certifications are considered assets.

Pay: $37.00-$44.00 per hour
