We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. Duties
Safely operate delivery vehicles, including commercial trucks and vans, to transport freight and goods to designated destinations
Load and unload cargo using forklifts or other heavy equipment when necessary
Ensure accurate delivery of freight while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Inspect vehicles regularly for maintenance needs and report any issues promptly
Assist with the loading and unloading of freight, utilizing skills in forklift operation or heavy equipment handling
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery schedules and address any concerns
Maintain proper documentation for deliveries, including receipts, delivery logs, and inspection reports
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required to ensure vehicle readiness
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record suitable for commercial driving
Experience in commercial driving, freight handling, or related logistics roles
Ability to operate forklifts and heavy equipment safely and efficiently (certification preferred)
Knowledge of automotive repair basics for routine vehicle maintenance
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery procedures
Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) repeatedly throughout the shift
Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
Flexibility to work varied schedules including early mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
