Full-Time Host / Server (Seasonal)

Yama Onigiri – Banff, AB
September 1 – February 28

We're looking for a friendly, outgoing Host/Server who enjoys connecting with people and creating a welcoming guest experience. This role involves active customer engagement, sharing the story of Japanese onigiri and Japanese food culture, and supporting daily restaurant operations.

Responsibilities include:
Greeting and hosting guests
Taking orders and providing table service
Preparing drinks and supporting beverage service
Communicating with customers and sharing information about Japanese food and culture
Supporting kitchen operations with cleaning, organization, and other daily tasks as needed
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, service, and teamwork

What we're looking for:
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Comfortable engaging in conversation with guests




Interest in Japanese culture and cuisine
Positive attitude and ability to work in a rapid-paced setting
Team player with a willingness to support different areas of the business

This is a seasonal position (September 1 – February 28), with the opportunity to extend based on performance and business needs.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
