Water Truck Operators in Alberta (Fort McMurray)
Must hold valid Standard First Aid CPR/AED, H2S Alive, and CSO certificates*
The Chance
Are you an experienced Water Truck Operator looking for steady work with a solid team this summer and beyond?
Movac Mobile Vacuum Services is hiring Water Truck Operators for ongoing work in the Fort McMurray area, starting immediately.
This is a field-based role suited for operators who take pride in their equipment, work safely, and can operate independently on site.
Daily $350/day + $50/day performance bonus (up to $400/day total)
Key Responsibilities
Operate and run a Water Truck on drilling rigs and industrial sites
Maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism on site
Complete daily safety documentation (pre-trip, FLHA, etc.)
Perform basic maintenance and inspections as required
Work efficiently without constant supervision
Follow all site-specific and company safety policies
Job Requirements
Valid Class 1 (Preferred) or Class 3 (Required) driver’s license with air brakes
Ability to operate 18-speed standard transmission
Previous water truck experience preferred
Valid safety tickets:
H2S Alive
Standard First Aid CPR/AED
CSO
Reliable, safety-focused, and able to work as part of a team
Job Types: Full time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Pay: $350.00-$400.00 per day
Experience:
water truck operator: 1 year (preferred)
oilsands/mine driving: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Air Brake Endorsement (preferred)
current CSO tickets (preferred)
current H2S Alive ticket (preferred)
current Standard First Aid CPR/AED certification (preferred)
Class 1 Licence (preferred)
Class 3 Licence (required)
