Tetra Tech is seeking an Intermediate Piping Stress Engineer to enhance our Mechanical Engineering team. With a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and over five years of industry experience, you will perform stress analysis on piping systems across various sectors. Strong proficiency in piping stress analysis software such as CAESAR II and AutoPIPE is essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform static and energetic stress analysis of piping systems
Conduct piping flexibility assessments and support design
Prepare and review piping stress calculations and specifications
Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams for project success
Participate in client meetings and field reviews
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
5+ years of piping stress analysis experience
Proficient with piping stress analysis software
Knowledge of ASME, CSA, API, and ASTM codes
Willingness to travel as needed
