Drive financial strategy as a Financial Analyst within UBC’s Digital Payments sector. This role involves budget preparation, financial analysis, and reporting to support the Digital Payment Program's success.
Reporting to the Finance Services Manager, you will manage financial operations impacting over $800M in revenue. Key to your responsibilities will be budget preparation, analyzing automated processes, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. You’ll collaborate with various departments and stakeholders across the university to align financial goals and provide insights for informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor monthly DPP chargeback cycle for anomalies
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for the DPP
• Develop financial models from various systems
• Analyze 10-year financial model for recommendations
• Facilitate reporting and training sessions for stakeholders
Requirements:
• Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
• Minimum three years of related experience
• Enrollment in CPA Qualified Education Program
• Ability to analyze complex financial data
• Solid communication skills for diverse interactions
