In this casual/relief position, you will ensure high standards of cleanliness in clinical and non-clinical areas. Your responsibilities will include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, operating industrial cleaning equipment, and maintaining emergency supplies. You will also be tasked with identifying and reporting hazards and may provide training to recent staff, contributing to a secure healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect patient and public areas thoroughly
• Operate industrial cleaning equipment for floor maintenance




• Restock supplies in bathroom facilities consistently
• Report potential hazards to your Working Leader
• Train recent Environmental Services staff as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent
• Knowledge of computer and smartphone operation
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs and pushing 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Previous cleaning experience in healthcare is an asset
