Fairmont Château Laurier seeks a Bilingual Guest Services Agent in Ottawa to ensure excellent guest experiences in both English and French. Engage with guests, manage check-ins, and support hotel operations with a robust focus on service.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing outstanding service, registering and checking guests in and out, and assisting with tour check-ins. You will be part of the hotel’s crisis team and assist leadership in daily tasks while maintaining service excellence and following safety policies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality service to internal and external guests
• Register and checkout hotel guests effectively
• Support guest tours and crisis team activities
• Generate reports for hotel departments as necessary
• Maintain a positive attitude while working under pressure
Requirements:
• Fluent in both English and French
• Previous Front Desk Agent experience required
• Excellent cash handling and computer skills
• Must type at least 40 words per minute
• Solid attention to detail and valuable decision-making
