Required Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse education program. Active, or eligible for, registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses and Health Care Aides of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP). Additional Required Qualifications:
Completion of a Perioperative Nursing Educational Program required. Must possess robust assessment skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills required. Preferred Qualifications:
Two years current operating room experience, preferably in a rural hospital and endoscopy experience is preferred. IV initiation and IV medication administration preferred.
