They are expanding their engineering team and are looking for a

Principal Project Manager

to lead project management and in office commissioning of large dairy and food projects. The role will involve working on a variety of design and build projects (recent and upgrades). It will require occasional on-site commissioning visits and travel.

Responsibilities

Lead large and complex projects in the dairy, food, or pharmaceutical sectors

Manage project planning, design reviews, procurement, and construction management

Oversee commissioning, including training and operating instruction development, and provide occasional in office commissioning visits and travel as required

Build strong client, contractor, and supplier relationships





Drive high standards of health, safety, and quality across all projects

Report on progress, risks, and project outcomes

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering or Science (Chemical, Process or Mechanical) and/or project management certification

Proven experience at a senior level of engineering and project management, ideally in the dairy, food processing, or pharmaceutical industries

Proven ability to manage complex projects from design through to commissioning

Experience leading project teams

Strong relationship management and communication skills

Proactive, organised approach with excellent problem‑solving ability
