Positioned under the Director of Children and Families, this full time permanent role involves a hands-on approach to mentor First Nations youth facing various life challenges. The Rights of Passage Scaabe will collaborate with community agencies to facilitate workshops and individual support, ensuring the holistic well-being of participants. You'll engage with youth to create personalized paths for their future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Liaise with First Nation CFS Agencies and schools
• Build relationships with parents and caregivers
• Participate in weekly case conferences
• Facilitate skill development workshops
• Advocate for youth in the Justice System
Requirements:
• Certificate or equivalent experience
• Robust knowledge of CFS policies and regulations
• Experience in workshop development
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and reliable vehicle
