In this crucial role under the OR Manager, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms and assisting the surgical team during procedures. Your duties will involve ensuring all necessary surgical instruments and supplies are ready and managing both pre-operative and post-operative tasks for optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and maintain operating rooms for surgical procedures
• Support surgeons with instruments and count materials used
• Document and assist in patient transfers to Recovery




• Manage limited circulating responsibilities as needed
• Ensure sterile techniques and safety practices are followed
Requirements:
• Certification as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario
• Completion of R.P.N. Diploma from an accredited institution
• Current BCLS certification
• Experience with perioperative nursing
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
