Join the Acute Care Physiotherapy team at Red Deer Regional Hospital as a Physiotherapist I. Provide essential therapeutic interventions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client independence and care outcomes.
As a key member of the Acute Care Physiotherapy team, you will deliver therapeutic interventions aimed at restoring optimal physical function and autonomy for diverse clients. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, managing treatments, and encouraging family involvement throughout the rehabilitation process. Additionally, you'll support and mentor Therapy Assistants and may supervise students during their clinical placements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive client assessments and interventions
• Collaborate with healthcare teams for integrated care
• Supervise Therapy Assistants and students during placements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Contribute to secure patient discharge planning
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
• Experience in acute care settings preferred
• Solid collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to engage clients and families in care
