Job Description : The Physical Therapist Degree Senior reports directly to the Manager. The Physical Therapist Degree Senior is accountable for planning, organizing, directing and coordinating the delivery of physical therapy services to ensure patients/clients receive comprehensive client-centered care. This position primary focus will be inpatient or outpatient, but may cover both inpatient and outpatient. The Physical Therapist Degree Senior also provides training, coaching, mentoring and guidance to staff therapists and other team members and students. Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement

Experience
2 years experience with clinical assessment and intervention services
Education
Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
Licenses
Valid Class 5 driver's license
Other Education and Training
Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS)
Knowledge and Abilities
Positive approach to deal with challenging situations with empathy and sincerity
Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
