As a Howard Café Attendant, you will manage the school café's daily functions under the guidance of the Manager of Purchasing and Ancillary Services. Operating from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the academic year, you will oversee student assistants, inventory, and serve a variety of food and beverages. Building relationships with young adults while providing excellent customer service is key to this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily coffee shop operations and inventory management
• Provide service at the café counter and accept payments




• Mentor and supervise students working at the café
• Prepare beverages and maintain cleanliness standards
• Utilize software for tracking revenue and expenses
Requirements:
• High school diploma minimum
• Experience in café or restaurant operations
• Familiarity with POS systems and Food Protected certification
• Solid organizational and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs during deliveries
