Join DRS Pivotal Power as a Field Service Engineer in Bedford, Nova Scotia, specializing in high reliability equipment. This position will require hands-on troubleshooting and operational support for military applications.
In this role, you'll report directly to the Supervisor – Repair and Overhaul and engage in routine repairs at customer sites and training locations. Leverage your engineering background to solve technically complex issues while cooperating closely with military field personnel. The role includes regular reporting and may require travel to customer sites for hands-on activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support field service activities in challenging environments
• Resolve technical issues with DRS products efficiently




• Work with engineering teams on complex resolutions
• Interface with customers to provide direct technical support
• Generate field service reports documenting issues and outcomes
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering
• At least 1 year of relevant electrical experience
• Registration eligibility with Engineers NS
• Robust troubleshooting skills with schematics
• Knowledge of communication systems considered an asset
