Airdrie Minor Hockey is looking for a dedicated Athletic Trainer to enhance the safety and wellness of its players. Responsibilities include attending three weekday morning practices weekly, managing injuries during matches, and maintaining open lines of communication with coaches, players, and families. Your expertise will contribute significantly to injury prevention and rehabilitation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver athletic therapy support during all practices
• Attend all scheduled weekday morning practices
• Assess player injuries promptly and effectively
• Implement injury prevention and return-to-play strategies
• Ensure a skilled team workplace at all times
Requirements:
• Certified in Athletic Therapy, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
• Preferred experience with hockey or high-performance sports
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
