This position will be in office at our Lanigan facility and is not available for remote work.Collaborate with stakeholders to develop short-term and long-term site financial plansWith our finance partners, including COE and FBS, provide insights into financial results to drive business improvementAct as the Finance point of contact for the site General ManagerLead long-term strategic planning for site expansions by working with site leadership to understand production step changes, capital requirements, and fixed and variable operating costsInterpret and provide market intelligence data to site personnel for use in operational planningImprove the quality and availability of data and business information, making key financial data readily available to leaders across the Potash Business UnitReview costs, improve visibility and analysis of cost drivers, identify trends and implications of current costs on future costs,



and provide this information to site personnel in a timely mannerCompute and validate capital project financial return calculationsAdvise on capital allocations at site levelResponsible for the preparation of the annual operating budget and monthly operating forecastsIdentify and understand site and business unit strategies, tailoring analysis, reporting, and deliverables to support the strategiesApply effective people leadership skills leading direct report through performance management, career development, and role deliverablesWhat You'll Bring:A university degree in accounting or financeProfessional accounting or finance designation (i.E. CPA, CBV, or CFA)10+ years related and progressive work experience in business or financial analysis rolesCommitment to safety and integrityDemonstrated time management skills, and ability to engage and prioritize when involved with multiple initiatives and changing prioritiesAbility to work independently or as part of a team with both technical and non-technical staffStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsDetail-oriented with the ability to also understand and review the big pictureInterest in and ability to learn and understand business and system processesPassion for leadership, and proven supervisory experience an assetStrong Microsoft Office skills,
