The Pikangikum Education Authority is seeking motivated individuals to work as Full Time Supply Teachers at Eenchokay Birchstick School for the 2025-2026 School Year.

Teachers Responsibilities: Be responsible for the effective instruction and evaluation of student progress.

Be responsible for the effective management of all student behavior.

Demonstrate an ability to differentiate academic instruction.

An ability to create an interesting and engaging classroom environment.

Speaking of the Ojibway language an asset but not essential.

Qualifications & Skills: To be a member in valuable standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or be eligible for membership.

Excellent technology skills.

Knowledge of Indigenous Culture an asset.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work positively with other staff members.
