Job Description The Process EngineerIIfocuses on the design of manufacturing facilityandequipment, supporting facility infrastructure and critical utility systemsas a part of a highly interactive team.

This individual is expected to execute work on one or more intermediate level tasks simultaneously and works closely withthe Lead or

Senior

Engineer.

This individual may also delegate some basic and fundamental tasks to Entry-Level and Design staff and providesoversight to their work.

The Process EngineerIIis expected to support the Lead Engineer and have responsibility for defined scope of the project such as a unit operation or small area.

This individual should understand the project schedule and budget and develop a work plan to support the delivery of their scope in support of those broader team goals.

Responsibilities Interfaceswith clientsand external partners.

Developsconstruction drawing packages and writesconstruction specifications on basic projects of limited complexity withsomeoversight.

Supportsconstruction activities such as RFI responses, submittal reviews, punch list development and construction progress reports.

Participatesand contributesto squad checksto produce coordinated, high-quality deliverables.

Providesmentorship and guidance to Designer I to translate the engineering design into the Revit model with oversight from the Lead or Senior Engineer.

Participatesin basic project system design programming with support from Lead or Senior Engineer.

Formsan understanding of the industry landscape, buildsrelationships withvendorsand attendsexternal industry events.

Delegatessome basic and fundamental tasks to Entry-Level and Design staff and providesoversight to their work.

Supportsthe generation of deliverables which require more experience,



deeper understanding or involve more complexity such as: Authoring Basis of Design

Design Room Cards Qualifications ABET-accredited

Bachelorsdegree in discipline-specificdegree Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operating company or design firm setting Fundamentals of Engineeringexam registration or completionpreferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Officesuiterequired Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic exposure to applicable Industryor

Regulatory Guidance andlocalbuilding codes Preferred Qualifications Fundamentals of Engineering exam registration or completion Proficiency in 2D / 3D design platforms (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) A high degree of proficiency performingor developinga variety of engineering calculationsrelated to fluid mechanics,heat transferor material and energy balances Proficient with basic internal and external cross-discipline project team coordination Proficient with basic coordination with construction trade partners,vendorsand manufacturers Additional Information We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity.
