Responsibilities Provide deskside support to team members both locally and remotely across Canada Support the deployment, configuration and use of our core set of applications, including tax and accounting applications Provide technical support relating to desktop, laptop, printers, scanner configuration and mobile devices Implement and maintain equipment standards, policies and support processes Install software and deploy hardware as required Perform data recovery operations Utilize Service
Now ticketing and Knowledge Base systems Be able to work independently and as a member of a larger Technology team Deliver one on one and group training, both in person and remotely Flexibility to work overtime,
as necessary Availability to work occasional shifts outside of standard hours or in an on-call rotation, as necessary Maintain flexibility to travel regionally Skills and Experience Technologically savvy, with a strong ability to learn recent applications, platforms, and systems quickly Relevant IT support experience is considered an asset Demonstrated customer service experience An understanding of the following core technical concepts: Directory services and identity/access management Basic networking concepts (e.g., LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS, routing) Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting print devices Hardware imaging and deployment processes Backup and recovery systems Audio-visual and meeting room technology Scripting fundamentals (e.g., command-line or automation scripting) Knowledge of common desktop operating systems and enterprise productivity suites is considered an asset, including: Modern Windows-based operating systems Cloud-based productivity suites (email, document storage, collaboration tools) A basic understanding of telephony systems and unified communications concepts Familiarity supporting business-critical applications typically used in professional services environments (e.g., accounting, tax preparation, document management, workflow tools) is considered an asset Experience with IT asset management practices and lifecycle planning is preferred Experience working with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical needs is highly beneficial Written and verbal English language skills, with French considered an asset
