Assume the role of Seminar Leader for ECE 4240 at the University of Manitoba. Provide hands-on assistance and tutoring for students in a cooperative learning setting from September to December.
This seminar leader position requires participation in instructional activities and direct student engagement. You will work closely with faculty to enhance course delivery while conducting office hours for additional student support. A strong background in microprocessor interfacing is highly preferred to ensure effective teaching.
Key Responsibilities:
• Attend orientation and coordination meetings for effective planning
• Help develop instructional materials for labs and seminars
• Evaluate students' assignments and projects promptly
• Hold regular consultation hours for student queries
• Assist in preparing and presenting instructional resources
Requirements:
• Successful completion of relevant coursework in ECE
• Compassionate approach to student needs
• Proficient in the English language for teaching
• Must be registered as a full time student in the Department
• Commitment to the entire course appointment period
