As part of the Climate and Setting Department, this co-op is ideal for engineering students in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year at a BC university. You will support various initiatives aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and promoting energy conservation based on the airport's Strategic Energy Management Plan, positioning YVR as a leader in sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement energy management initiatives as outlined in VAA’s plan
• Analyze and develop energy conservation project proposals
• Create presentations and reports for internal communication
• Assist with tenant engagement in energy savings
• Participate in other related Climate and Workplace projects
Requirements:
• Enrolled in an engineering co-op program
• Proven experience with energy-related data management
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Office 365, especially Excel
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
