Provide essential services as a Bilingual Housing Support Manager at the YMCA of the National Capital Region. This full time, in office role focuses on support and guidance for individuals in need of affordable housing solutions.
This position requires a commitment to the YMCA's mission and core values. You will assist clients by providing housing information, conducting interviews, and developing individualized plans for those in need. Being an impactful presence, you will also lead workshops that build life skills while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist individuals with housing eligibility and options
• Conduct interviews and assess client needs
• Offer ongoing case management and crisis support




• Facilitate workshops to enhance social skills
• Maintain compliance with reporting standards
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline
• Proficiency in English and French, both written and spoken
• 2 years of experience in social services preferred
• Skills in non-violent crisis intervention preferred
• Current First Aid and CPR certification required
