Whats Offered $5,000 Sign-On Bonus Competitive wage of $40$45/hour Shift premiums: 2nd Shift: +$3.00/hr 3rd Shift: +$4.00/hr Weekend Shift: +$3.00/hr Modern and clean shop environment Industry-leading tools and technology RRSP matching program Affordable health and dental benefits Paid vacation + 11 statutory holidays + sick days Free uniforms and laundry service Tool and boot allowance Tuition reimbursement Employee Assistance Program Ongoing technical training and career development Advancement opportunities within a growing organization Key Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on trucks and trailers Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using advanced testing equipment Repair engines, transmissions, differentials, fuel systems, turbochargers, brakes, steering, and suspension systems Complete warranty-related repairs and documentation Conduct road tests when required Operate shop tools, hoists, welding equipment, and diagnostic systems safely Maintain a clean and organized work area Complete repairs efficiently with minimal supervision Support additional shop projects as needed Qualifications 5+ years of practical tractor-trailer maintenance experience Valid Red Seal or applicable provincial trade certification Valid Class 3 or Class D licence with air brake endorsement (or ability to obtain within 6 months) Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills on major components Experience using hand tools, power tools, welding, and computerized diagnostics Basic computer skills Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Willingness to travel locally for service calls or training when needed Physical Requirements Regular lifting up to 12 kg Frequent lifting up to 23 kg Occasional lifting up to 45 kg Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and work with tools throughout the shift
