Our family recently relocated to West Vancouver, BC and is seeking a part time, live-out nanny to care for our 3 primary school-aged children (ages 11, 8, and 4.5).

Emily (mom) is an emergency physician with a variable schedule; Gaurav (dad) works in health tech and has more typical business hours.

We are looking for approximately 25 hours per week starting in late August, primarily weekday afternoons and early evenings (for example, roughly 2:307:30 pm), with some flexibility on exact start time.

We are also open to discussing a split schedule (such as 7:309:30 am and 3:007:00 pm) for the right candidate.

The role is mostly focused on attentive childcare after school, including school pickup, driving to and from activities, and creating a safe and engaging environment for our kids.

Light housekeeping related to the children (kids laundry, toy pickup, basic tidying of play areas), occasional meal preparation for the children, and some pet care (walking our friendly 3-year-old Portuguese water dog, Mamba) are also part of the role.

Our eldest (entering grade 6) has physical disabilities and uses a wheelchair; they require some assistance getting into and out of our minivan,



and the nanny must be comfortable and able to lift approximately 20 kg (the wheelchair, not the child).

We are seeking someone who is organized, reliable, and proactive, with strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with children.

Experience with children with physical disabilities is an asset but not required; comfort learning and following care routines is essential. CPR certification is preferred.

This is a part-time position of about 25 hours per week.

The hourly rate for this position is $3034 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and responsibilities.
