In this role, you will provide essential assessments and personalized nursing care to clients with diverse mental health needs while working closely with RNs and RPNs. Your responsibilities will involve updating care plans, ensuring patient safety, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. You will deliver care in clients' homes and promote an setting of respect and trust.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care both at home and in community settings
• Monitor and assess clients' health and well-being
• Attend interdisciplinary planning meetings to enhance care
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations
• Support clients in daily living and therapeutic activities
Requirements:
• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nursing program
• Current practicing registration with BCCNM
• Valid BC Driver's License
• Certifications in First Aid and CPR
• Ability to establish rapport with patients and work collaboratively
