The Salvation Army is seeking Peer Support Workers for its Harbour Light’s Treatment Program. You will engage with clients through direct support and supervision while facilitating step-work groups. This position demands solid interpersonal skills and the ability to manage administrative tasks while ensuring client confidentiality and safety during all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor client activities and provide personal support
• Facilitate weekly Step-Work Groups for clients
• Administer medications and perform hourly well-being checks




• Document all client interactions thoroughly
• Assist with after-hours intake procedures
Requirements:
• One year of experience with female-identifying clients
• Knowledge of recovery principles, especially 12-step programs
• PeerConnectBC Certification or willingness to obtain
• First Aid, CPR, and Mental Health First Aid training
• Background Check clearance required
