In the Athletics & Recreation department, the Assistant Coach will collaborate to guide student athletes while ensuring administrative tasks align with York University policies and regulations. Previous coaching experience is vital, ideally at the college or university level. Additionally, robust communication, creative thinking, and organizational capabilities are essential skills for effective student interaction and program management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct athletes on soccer techniques and methodologies
• Oversee competition and event management requirements




• Fulfill designated administrative responsibilities
• Participate in all relevant OUA and U Sport competitions
• Physically engage in practices and oversee athlete performance
Requirements:
• High School Diploma is required
• Previous coaching experience preferred at higher levels
• Clean driver's abstract necessary
• Required First Aid certification and sports knowledge
• Must pass Vulnerable Sector Check
