Our energy client is looking for a Senior SAP HR Functional Analyst to design, validate, and enable SAP S4/HANA-based HR processesthat align business objectives with SAP standard capabilities.TCJP00021445 Initial contract goes until March 31, 2027 with high chances of extension.

Fully remote but the preferences will be given to Calgary local candidates with hybrid mode.

Description: The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring end?to?end HR processes are fit?for?purpose, scalable, and aligned with clean?core principles.

This role should also have strengths and deep familiarity with other key integrated SAP platforms like Workday, SAP Success

Factors and SAP Fieldglass and how they interact with the S/4HANA Core.

Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate fit-to-standard workshops across HR domains.

Document where SAP standard is adopted and where justified deviations exist.

Manage scope clarity and reduce delivery risk through strong functional governance.

Validate and govern integration requirements across TC Energy''s HR ecosystem: Workday, SAP Success

Factors, SAP Fieldglass, and HR analytics platforms.

The client operates a large Workday footprint and improving the Workday-to-S/4HANA integration is a named program objective this is the highest-priority workstream in the HR domain.

Partner with the system integrator to review and approve HR functional designs.

Act as the conduit between TC Energy''s internal HR team and the SI ensuring clean-core adherence and preventing unnecessary customization.

Own go-live readiness for HR domains: define functional test scenarios, validate HR master and transactional data readiness (pay, compensation, time, worker data), support cutover planning,



and ensure day-one operational stability Must have: Deep SAP S/4HANA HR (HCM) functional expertise covering pay, compensation, time management, and hire-to-retire lifecycle, validated through at least one major ERP transformation or implementation.

Demonstrated SAP Success

Factors integration experience with S/4HANA core hands-on integration design, not general platform familiarity.

Workday integration experience with SAP HCM or S/4HANA explicitly named by the hiring manager as the most important differentiator for this role.

Candidates with direct Workday-to-SAP integration design experience will be prioritized.

Proven fit-to-standard and clean-core execution in HR processes can facilitate workshops, document justified deviations, and challenge customization requests with credible standard-path alternatives.

Strong cross-functional stakeholder engagement at middle-to-upper management level across HR, IS, and business areas.

Nice to have: SAP Fieldglass integration with S/4HANA HR The client is also targeting improvements to CWC-related HR integration within this domain. SAP HCM Payroll depth payroll is in scope within the hire-to-retire lifecycles SAP HCM Core, SAP HCM Payroll, Workday HCM Core, Workday Pro HCM, or SAP Success
