Lead the UBC Arts Co-op Program as a Co-op Education Manager in a hybrid role. Oversee student development and career advising while enhancing workplace learning experiences. At UBC, the Co-op Education Manager plays a vital role in managing the Arts Co-op Program.
This position requires supporting students through their co-op journey, while maintaining connections with diverse employers. You'll ensure student preparedness, foster career exploration, and enhance engagement in the workforce. Key Responsibilities:
Advise and coach students on career prospects
Conduct site visits and evaluate co-op placements
Design and facilitate pre-employment training workshops
Build and maintain relationships with employers and alumni
Contribute to strategic planning and program evaluation Requirements:
Undergraduate degree in relevant discipline
Minimum four years of related experience
Robust communication and organizational skills
Commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion
Ability to travel as needed Enhance career development for students through effective advising and robust partnerships in the UBC Arts Co-op Program.
