What You''ll Do As a Backend Engineer, you will design and deliver scalable backend services that power Veeva Ostros SaaS platform.

In this role, youll balance high-velocity delivery with long-term code health, building impactful features while championing clean architecture, rigorous testing, and low technical debt.

Architect and scale high-performance APIs for Veeva Ostros SaaS platform Partner cross-functionally to design and ship current features Provide technical feedback on product roadmaps and feature scoping Champion quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and clean architecture Optimize application and database performance to handle growth Evaluate emerging backend technologies to improve engineering practices Troubleshoot and resolve live system issues to maximize uptime Requirements 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production code for B2B or B2C SaaS products 5+ years of deep expertise in Python and frameworks like Django Strong proficiency with relational databases,
