You as a Dishwasher will: JOB SUMMARY As a member of the Food Services team, the Dishwasher/Porter will be responsible for dish room duties, transportation of meal carts to and from units, assigned cleaning and sanitation of departmental equipment and other related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Grade 12 or equivalent Ability to fluently read, write speak and follow written and oral instruction in the English language.

One (1) year food services experience, preferably in a health care environment Knowledge of food service sanitation standards and infection control practices Minimum of Food Safe Basic Level (current) Ability to stand / walk for extended periods of time Ability to perform repetitive activities such as lifting (up to 11-22 lbs), reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping,



and walking as required Must be able to pass a physical assessment Must be able to work where exposed to infection, blood/human waste, odors and work interruptions Ability to process information, organize and prioritize tasks Ability to work without direct supervision in a team environment Adheres to Ellis
