Dinsmore Health Care Centre seeks a dedicated part time Cook for its Food Services. Your role will encompass the organization, preparation, and distribution of meals during day and weekend shifts.
In this part time Cook role, you will be integral to providing nutritious meals to our service recipients. Robust organizational and interpersonal skills are essential, as you'll coordinate with food service teams to meet dietary needs. A Journeyperson Cook certificate or Health Care Cook Certificate is preferred for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Produce and prepare meals according to health standards
• Ensure timely distribution of food and beverages
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen




• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and supervisors
• Operate independently while managing food preparations
Requirements:
• Minimum of Grade 10 education
• Valid Journeyperson Cook certificate or equivalent
• Health Care Cook Certificate preferable
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping
• Valid driver's license, where applicable
