We are seeking a passionate Physiotherapy Assistant to support our residents in a Long Term Care setting. You'll work under the guidance of a Physiotherapist, assisting with group and one-on-one exercises, and monitoring resident progress. Your role will be pivotal in encouraging residents to reach their rehabilitation goals and ensuring their safety during treatment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct group exercises and personalized sessions per Physiotherapist guidance
• Support residents in achieving treatment goals where applicable
• Document treatments and progress for each therapy session




• Aid in protected walking, sitting, and transfers for residents
• Monitor health status changes and report to supervising staff
Requirements:
• Graduate or equivalent qualifications as a Physiotherapy Assistant
• Robust multi-tasking capabilities and ability to thrive under pressure
• Effective communication skills, especially with elderly residents
• Experience in Long Term Care settings preferred
• Valid police check, TB test, or chest X-ray required
