Halton Healthcare is seeking a Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse for a dynamic Med/Surg unit in Milton. Emphasizing patient care, this role includes diverse clinical skills and rotation-based 12-hour shifts.
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver secure, evidence-informed care to acute medical and surgical patients. This position requires excellent clinical judgment and communication skills while embracing a team-based approach. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide patient-centered care for diverse needs
• Administer medications and manage IVs effectively
• Conduct assessments, interpret lab values, and intervene as necessary




• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Educate and support patients and families pre and post-surgery
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent medical/surgical acute care experience
• Telemetry and critical care experience preferred
• Excellent organizational skills in a rapid-paced setting
• BLS certification required for hire
