The Chance
Are you a passionate legal skilled who wants to give back by working with a non‑profit? We are seeking a dedicated Legal Administrative Assistant (Pro Bono) to support our organization by providing legal insight on the Stretchy project, agreements, and course content.
This opportunity is ideal for law students, recent graduates, or legal professionals looking to contribute their expertise to Health Together's mission‑driven setting while supporting ethical and compliant organizational practices.
Key Responsibilities
Provide general legal insight related to nonprofit operations and policies.
Review agreements, partnership documents, and organizational materials.
Support compliance and ethical best practices across programs and initiatives.
Offer guidance on educational and course‑related content related to the Stretchy project and on incorporation.
Collaborate with leadership in a supportive and community‑focused environment.
Qualifications
Background: Degree or background in law, legal studies, or related fields; working knowledge of the BC Societies Act with proven ability to uphold organizational transparency, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
Passions: Strong interest in nonprofit work, health equity, and community advocacy.
Attributes: High attention to detail and sound professional judgment.
Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
