Become a key member of the nursing team as a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) at Royal Rose in Welland. This Part Time position offers you the chance to provide compassionate, coordinated care to residents in a recognized long-term care home.
As an RPN, you will be guided by the Director of Care while executing nursing responsibilities that comply with the College of Nurses regulations. You will coordinate care, manage nursing tasks, and ensure thorough documentation of resident information. This role also includes mentoring recent staff and participating in essential committees, all while prioritizing quality improvement and effective care management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care in line with care plans
• Coordinate nursing care with a multidisciplinary team




• Maintain accurate and timely resident documentation
• Train and orient current team members and residents
• Implement quality improvement and risk management protocols
Requirements:
• Valid Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Previous experience in Long-Term Care is an asset
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities
• Competent with current care technologies
• Interest in ongoing education and training
