Responsibilities Perform quarterly groundwater monitoring activities (including sample collection, water level measurements, and downloading data loggers) in accordance with established procedures, instructions, work plans, and work orders.

Support shallow groundwater sampling preparation by coordinating sample bottle requests, sample bottle prep and shipment, assisting with field equipment setup and maintenance, performing field equipment calibration and checks, and reviewing work plans and work orders.

Plan, generate, review and distribute correspondence, reports, lists, spreadsheets, and tables, including compiling and organizing field data.

Support inventory tracking and organization of warehouse field equipment, tools, and safety equipment.

Support preparation of reports and deliverables.

Provide a broad range of administrative support functions to support operational and project needs.

Be accountable for the health, safety and well-being of self and others, in accordance with technical/operating procedures and standards.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions This position requires oversight of a 24/7 work program including borehole drilling and testing operations.

The successful candidates will work in a rotation schedule (two weeks on, two weeks off).

Frequent field work year-round- Field work can be physically demanding, including heavy lifting (sampling equipment and coolers),



adverse weather conditions, rough terrain, and occasional long days.

This position operates under an overtime averaging agreement.

The standard work schedule is 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

In addition, once per quarter, to support the Environmental Baseline Monitoring Program the employee will be required to work extended hours over a 14-day period.

Following this rotation, the employee will receive 14 consecutive days off.

Qualifications and Experience Minimum Qualifications: Grade 12 or equivalent, Concentrated study in a related field such as(e.g. enviro science, enviro tech, geoscience) and/or a relevant field of study with equivalent work experience would be an asset.

Preference for at least 1 year of experience performing environmental fieldwork or technician work.

Solid digital literacy and comfort working with databases and Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with ability to identify inconsistencies and quality issues.

Ability to follow procedures and work in a safety-sensitive environment.

Experience operating ATVs and UTVs considered an asset (training will be provided).

Must be eligible to work in Canada and must be able to meet security clearance requirements.

Must have a Class G drivers license or equivalent.
