The Opportunity: Our client is a leader in customized food solutions, and they are seeking a Finance and Accounting Consultant to support key financial operations during a transitional period.

This role involves managing month-end processes, variance analysis, audit preparation, and assisting with an ERP migration.

Key Responsibilities: Upload and consolidate financial results for head office reporting Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements Analyze variances between actual results, budgets, and forecasts, including detailed commentary Perform expense analysis to uncover key trends and issues Supply financial data and documentation to auditors for the year-end audit (Dec 31) Conduct reconciliations for balance sheets, bank accounts, and inventory Assist in transitioning Quebec operations to Syspro ERP (Q2 timeline) Support the preparation of monthly financial reports for private equity stakeholders Qualifications: Experience in finance and accounting within manufacturing or related industries Strong understanding of IFRS Proficiency in financial reporting, variance analysis,
