QUALIFICATIONS: Education, Training And Experience A Bachelor''s Degree in Engineering or College diploma in Engineering Technology supplemented with seven (7) to ten (10) years'' recent related progressive supervisory and management experience in a large, complex unionized environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Skills And Abilities Demonstrated working knowledge of building systems, operations and maintenance practices in a complex environment.

Demonstrated working knowledge of appropriate legislation, relevant laws/by-laws and provincial/national standards.

Proven initiative, judgement, decision-making and problem-solving capabilities.

Demonstrated ability to lead and take action in a crisis management setting.

Demonstrated ability to coach and lead team members.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills and proven ability to develop and maintain rapport with staff and other stakeholders.

Ability to prioritize work and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
