HR & Payroll AnalystToronto or Brampton or Vancouver or Calgary- HYBRID 2 MONTH CONTRACT 25-27 Hourly ResponsibilitiesServe as the first point of contact for general inquiries, utilizing robust communication and interpersonal skills to provide accurate information regarding Human Resources policies, programs, and procedures, as well as pay and quota‑related provisions within collective agreements and terms and conditions. Support the People, Culture & Performance team in areas related to Labour and Employee Relations.Apply strong attention to detail, analytical capability, and problem‑solving skills to interpret and administer diversified and complex procedural rules and processes related to employee lifecycle changes, including new hires, internal transfers, leaves of absence, return‑to‑work cases, layoffs and recalls, terminations, and retirements.Manage pay‑related changes in alignment with collective agreement provisions and guidelines for non‑unionized compensation, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.Administer pension and benefit programs in compliance with plan requirements and legislative standards. Maintain HR databases, collect required information,



and generate reports as mandated by collective agreements.Provide exceptional customer service by guiding and supporting managers on the interpretation and application of HR programs, policies, and procedures. QualificationsCompletion of post‑secondary education in Human Resources, Payroll, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Human Resources or Payroll, including experience supporting an HRIS system such as SAP.Demonstrated experience providing employee support on pay‑related matters, benefits, and pension administration.Experience working in a unionized environment is considered an asset.Strong working knowledge of collective agreement provisions related to employee entitlements and pay administration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly, professionally, and accurately. “AI may be used to screen, assess or select applicants for this position”.
