JOB PURPOSE The Physiotherapy Supervisor is responsible for supervising the provision of physiotherapy services QUALIFICATION A University degree in a related field.

Must be registered and a member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapist of New Brunswick and eligible for membership in the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.

Must have three years experience as a physiotherapist in a health care setting.

Ability to attend work on a regular basis.

Ability to perform the duties of the position.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Physiotherapy Supervisor is responsible for: Assigning, overseeing, reviewing and evaluating service delivery Planning, directing and evaluating therapy programs and services Providing staff orientation and coordinating staff development programs Serving as a professional practice leader Developing and/or ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures Coordinating or participating in student placements Performing the work of a physiotherapist Employees are responsible to be aware of and understand Horizons Terms of Employment: COMPETENCIES IDENTIFIED BY THE CANADIAN PHYSIOTHERAPY ASSOCIATION (2009)
