As a member of the Wound Ostomy Team, you'll provide specialized care for clients managing acute and chronic wounds. This role focuses on delivering education, mentoring, and consultation while optimizing client outcomes through program development. You'll leverage your expertise to improve service delivery and guide interprofessional teams in quality health care practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide holistic assessments of clients with wounds and ostomy concerns
• Develop treatment plans in collaboration with interprofessional teams
• Mentor staff on wound and ostomy best practices
• Support program development and quality monitoring
• Facilitate educational initiatives for healthcare providers
Requirements:
• RN with current Ontario certification and advanced wound care education
• Flexibility in advancing wound care practices at SE Health
• Willingness to participate in further education
• Excellent communication skills for teaching and consultation
• Valid driver’s license for travel between clients
