The West Vancouver Parks Department is looking for two Carpenter III candidates to enhance our Carpentry and Trails team. Your key areas include renovating park infrastructure and constructing essential wooden structures like trail bridges and signage kiosks. This role involves a variety of hands-on tasks, requiring independent judgment and the ability to lead other carpenters effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and assign tasks to carpentry team members
• Execute park infrastructure repairs and maintenance




• Construct a diverse range of wooden structures
• Ensure safety standards are adhered to during projects
• Accurately keep records of daily work activities
Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Carpentry apprenticeship
• High School Diploma required
• Red Seal Certificate in Carpentry mandatory
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License necessary
