The successful candidate will support our Core Purpose, which is Building Positive Change in our Communities, and will demonstrate our Core Values of Commitment, Attitude, and Respect.

Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise the mainline paving crew working on municipal, subdivision, commercial, and overlay projects Operate and oversee safe use of paving equipment, including paver, screed, and roller Ensure high quality asphalt laydown, meeting mat quality and compaction standards Coordinate daily production with the superintendent Complete required paperwork accurately each day Promote and maintain a strong safety culture,



and ensure all crew members follow company and provincial safety procedures Train, mentor, and support crew members to maintain a positive, accountable team environment Perform other related duties as assigned Required Skills and Experience A minimum of five years experience in road construction A minimum of three years experience supervising paving crews Experience operating pavers, rollers, and screeds Solid understanding of asphalt paving processes, grades, slopes, and municipal paving standards Valid Class 5 drivers licence with a clean abstract Ability to work extended hours and weekends when required Strong communication skills and high attention to detail Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions Able to work independently and as part of a team Additional Considerations WHMIS, CSTS or RSTS, and First Aid Experience with City of Edmonton and Alberta Transportation specifications is an asset Google Suite (Docs and Sheets) experience is an asset Role Expectations Occasional travel outside Edmonton may be required Must always maintain respectful and professional communication Must support a positive culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety About OHanlon Paving For over 70 years, OHanlon Paving has delivered high quality road and paving projects throughout the Edmonton region.
