The position of Senior Terrestrial Ecologist calls for seasoned professionals with over 10 years of experience in environmental consulting. You will utilize your skills in ecological assessments, contribute to environmental impact studies, and provide key project management support. Build new client relationships while leading field investigations and mentoring junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct technical ecological assessments for multiple projects
• Develop fieldwork plans and manage project scope
• Mentor staff and promote a team-oriented work setting
• Coordinate resources for Environmental Assessments
• Provide data interpretation for regulatory compliance
Requirements:
• 10+ years of consulting in wetlands and vegetation
• Bachelor’s degree in Natural Resource Management or related field
• Excellent communication and team management skills
• Relevant Ontario ecological certifications preferred
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
